First of all, I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped out with my Cover Release! You guys made it all truly epic, and I feel like I can't thank you enough!
If you didn't see the cover, just scroll down.
Anyway, I was so scared for quite a while about releasing it. I was afraid people might think it sounded too much like The Hunger Games or something (which a few did unfortunately…)
But overall, I think it went really well.
Okay, what I'm really excited for now, is getting the long awaited Author's Review Copy. Like, I'm literally finding it hard to sit still just waiting for it. CreateSpace said that I should get it within five to seven days.
And they said that about four days ago, so I'm dying to see my book in print.
I also realized that after I submit my final revisions for the story…
There's a "publish" button.
So like, when I click publish, it will be published.
I mean how cool and scary is that!?
Anyway, I'm just sorta freaking out about all this.
Happy Monday!

Good luck!!!!
Every good work has critics, Jess. Don't let yourself fret over them. Enjoy this moment and the feeling of seeing something you created take on a life of its own. Good job and good luck!
If you've proofed it and it's the best it can be, don't let the publish button scare you.
Don't be afraid of the publish button! It is scary getting to that point, though. When I received my first review copy, I was beside myself with disbelief, but after a while it sunk in that hey, I was almost a "real" author!
It's a big step to actually sit down and publish something, but you'll definitely be glad that you did it. Just remember that there are people out there who are going to love your book (personally, I didn't get the Hunger Games flare from it, but then again...I didn't really care for the Hunger Games that much), and those are the people that you want to focus on.
Best of luck! I'm looking forward to reading it. :)
Alexandra~
No fear - just do it.
Enjoy the moment!
Best of luck! :) Always fun to see the proof- enjoy it!
Best of luck and congratulations! I'll definitely be reading your book!
:)
Good luck! You can do it! :)
Pushing the button is the crowning moment of a lot of hard work. You should enjoy it! Congrats - the cover looks fantastic, by the way.
