Going Away but Not Really

Hey guys I'm leaving to go up to Michigan today, and I won't be back until next Friday!  Don't worry though, I won't be completely gone.  I've got a few posts 'preposted' and I'm bringing *my trusty new iPhone* in its sapphire blue iPhone case, so I'll still be able to see your comments :)

Speaking of iPhones, I still can't get over how awesome they are.

It's small and easy to carry around.  You can access internet from almost anywhere.  You can text, and call and listen to music.  You can blog.  You can read (download Kindle).  If you're a gamer, you can play games.

But the best part is that, being a writer (and a fast texter/typer), I can take notes and get down ideas.  Honestly, I forget things a lot.

Sometimes I have that genius moment and figure out a key point in a plot, but I don't always have access to paper.  One thing I do always have with me is my phone!  So it's really helped keeping my ideas together and down!

In my opinion, there's only four things a person needs.  Food, shelter, love, and an iPhone.  And with those four things you can do pretty much anything :)

Do you have an iPhone?  Do you want an iPhone?  What do you think about them?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Have a fun trip! My dad has one, but it's like we (I and my brother) own it. We love using it for pretty much the same reasons as yours! :)
And that Kindle app syncs with the one on my laptop and so it's awesome! It's like the very same app in two different devices. Which it is. :P

Have a great time in Michigan.

Yes, I have an iPhone and so do my children (ages 12 & 16). I hope the know how very lucky they are. Of course, I like to refer to them as my babysitters, the iPhones, that is.

Have a blast on your trip to Michigan. And though I do not have an iPhone or have a particular opinion regarding them, having a smart device handy is great for capturing those shiny ideas, plot fixes or strokes of genius when a pen and Post it note are nowhere in sight :-)

And I do not have an iPhone, but I am dying for one. Maybe by Christmas??

Jessica, as your Grandma, I must remind you not to forget clothing as the fifth item.

That being said, I am crazy about my iPhone, too. It's the coolest device ever!

Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else over the Fourth of July holidays! Love, Grandma

It's good to have something to write on, whether it be phone or paper. I usually have a notebook or something with me. I have a HTC, and I love it to bits. I hate going online on such a small screen, and a touchscreen no less. :p Haha, so iphones probably aren't for me.

Do you have Siri? I find her creepy, but she does sometimes remind me of things. If I get an idea in the car, I can say "Siri, at 6:00 p.m. remind me of flying infants and chocolate covered shopping mall story idea" and she does! When I am home and can do something about it!
