Almost Over…

Okay.

I'll fully admit that I'm pretty nervous.

I should be getting my final proof back by February 4th.

After that, all I have to do, is press "publish."

I'm not sure how long it takes to go from pressing "publish" to it actually being published. And I'm not really sure how setting up a release date goes, but by the stars, I'm really nervous.

I assumed that a decent amount of people would buy it. Like some of you guys, and some of my friends from the ice rink…but I hadn't really expected people I used to know from public school to get it. Or people I knew a long time ago.

People keep asking me when it's coming out, and suddenly I'm really scared of what people might think.

Yes, I wrote the story I wanted to write.

It's exactly what I wanted it to be.

But what if people don't like it for what it is?

Anyway, that's just what I've been worrying about lately. How are you guys?

Happy Wednesday!

You're so close, Jessica. That's great! Don't be so concerned about what others think. You are fabulous regardless of what people think of your book. Remember it's all subjective.

If you wrote the story of your heart, then people will love it. No worries, and congrats!

All authors worry before publication. Just enjoy the experience. You've accomplished something huge.

Well if you like it and you made it how you wanted it to be, I'm sure most of us would love it too! :) All the best!

When it's available, let me know and I'll do a big shout out for you. And buy it of course!

Jess...super congrats first of all and second, if you wrote what you wanted to write and it turned out exactly as you wanted...don't worry what others think. Here is an old Amway saying I heard once, "Some will...some won't...so what." It is a fact you can't control.

So close! I agree with what Miranda said: it's all subjective. If you wrote the story you wanted and you love it, there are going to be people who love it too. :)

If you've written what YOU want to write, then damn anyone who doesn't. Someone must have liked it for you to be publishing it, so be proud and fearless. Don't worry, be happy :D Fingers crossed for you, and I'm sure everyone who reads it will love it!
