Star Trek Blogfest

Before I tell you my favorite things about Star Trek, just know that I am a very new Star Trek fan, so my favorite people and movies to choose from are limited. (And sorry if the choices are too predictable). Anyway here I go!
Favorite People:

  1. Lieutenant Uhura
  2. Spock
  3. Kirk
  4. Sulu
  5. McCoy
Favorite Movies/Shows:
  1. Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home
  2. Star Trek (2009)
Okay and that's about all I can say, mostly because my silly parents wanted to start from the very beginning of the entire TV series. (Trust me, I've only seen the first four episodes of season one!)
Anyway, I have to say, I really love Star Trek now and am so glad I was introduced to it! Being a complete Star Wars fan helped me I think. (We should have a Star Wars Blogfest too! I might do better in that one!)

great stuff, you have many more years of trek to love... it helps you learn about the universe, well at least told by the trek people.

I enjoyed the '09 movie immensely -- and it kindled an appreciation for the original series.

I love the 2009 reboot by Abrams so I'm with you on that. Plus the cast is adorable.

Uhura rocks! So happy you found Star Trek. Enjoy discovering all the characters and diving into the episodes. You're going to have a blast.

Your top two movies are my top two movies also. I think it's cool of you to watch the original series with your parents. Hang in there, some of them are pretty cheesy, but without them, everything would be different.

Isis~ Thanks so much! I can't wait to watch more LOL

Wendy~ It's kind of funny watching scenes that should be really awesome but since the graphics aren't so great they look a little cheesy. I really love the story line of all of them though!

Great choices! I'm a huge fan of the original and the new movie too! The castings are so eerily familiar that it's perfect! :)

My wife's favorite is The Voyage Home as well.
Maybe we should toss Worf and Chewy in the ring and see what happens?

Thanks everyone!

Amy~ The new movie was amazing! I was really surprised!

Alex~ Chewy would win :D (Actually I don't know who Worf is... so maybe I'm wrong LOL)

Jess, either way, it would be ugly!
Oh, and thanks for signing up for my Worst Movies Ever blogfest next month.

Yeah, you've got a lot of great Star Trek to look forward to. Welcome to Starfleet!

Hello, Jess. It's good to meet you.
Don't worry that you are new to Star Trek. We're just happy you're here. You are another who mentioned Star Trek IV. I'm a huge The Wrath of Khan fan, but will have to go back and watch the fourth film again. It's been a long time.
Have a great week.
