D is for Discouraging
Your mind
is dry and desolate,
Creativity
long since passed,
And
everything you write,
Isn’t
something that will last.
It annoys
you to the core,
Your scene
just isn’t right,
Your eyes
want to close,
You want to
give up the fight.
But do not
be destroyed,
In
disparity don’t you moan,
We all have
insecurities,
No, you are
not alone.

Okay, maybe the poem is a little cheesy, but I couldn't think of anything to write for 'D' and for the Insecure Writers Support Group post! Anyway, here's a discouraging song (lol) called Destroyed by one of my favorite artists, Within Temptation.
Oh, and here's the A to Z Challenge linky list.
Have a Delightful day!

Not cheesy at all :) Haven't all writers been there at one point or another? It's good to remember that!
Another great one. thanks for the hopeful ending.
Not cheesy, and oh so familiar (in a 'been there more times than I care to count' kinda way). Thanks for sharing it :D
A great way to combine your two blog challenges!loved the poem too.

Don't be discouraged! You write very well, even for a Star Wars fan... *grin*

Fight against the darkness! Being discouraged is a loud that follows everyone. Fortunately, we can fight it...
It might be a bit cheesy, but the flow is nice.
And a delightful day to you as well.
Good one!
A little cheesy, but I like it. :)
I think your poem is a creative way to combine the two topics. Your words certainly got the point across.
